Friendship Day + What My Closest Friends Taught Me

Image
Hello! How are you?  I still can’t believe it’s August.  I know I haven't been posting often, but I've been very busy.  Guess what?  Tomorrow is National Friendship Day!  I really wanted to do a post about it, but I'm trying to stick to my blog schedule, so I compromised and posted it today.     My friends have taught me lots of things .  Sometimes I’ve gotten a little bugged with them, and sometimes I’ve tried their patience.  But not matter what, we stick together.  Here are a few things I’ve learned from my three closest friends. Lolly (because who is a better friend than my sister?) Stand up for yourself.   Don’t ever let people walk all over you.  If they don’t care about you, then there is no reason to care about them. You are safe.  God will always protect you.  You are loved, and there is nothing that can change that. It’s okay to cry.  Just don’t lose hope....

Early Writing Tag

Hello there! How was your Forth?  Ours was, um, interesting.  It wasn’t what I expected, but I think it was still good.  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Last week Abbiee did a wonderful post (and tag) about her horrendous childhood writings .  It was very comical and I enjoyed it very much.  You can read all about it here.  But she didn’t stop there!  Abbiee made a tag of her own, which I am proudly participating in, thanks Abbiee!  Let’s dive in! What horrendous book did you write as a child? So many.   Seriously, I don’t know what happened to most of them, but there are truly so many.  I guess I’ve always been a writer at heart, but maybe not always a good writer.  I’ll start with the first book I can remember.  Bosom Friends I believe I wrote this right after seeing Anne of Green Gables for the first time .  I was only 4 and had no i...

Sunshine Blogger Award

Good afternoon! Just so you know, I typed that in a British accent. How have you been?  Did anything super special happen over the week?  Our first rehearsal for our summer show is tomorrow.  Although I'm still getting over P.S.D. (Post Show Depression) from Peter Pan, I'm looking forward to this show.  There will lots of singing and dancing, so yay! Anyway, on to the post! ----------------------------------------- A little while ago Catherine at The Rebelling Muse tagged me for the sunshine blog award.  She also tagged me for something else a while back, but now I can’t remember what.  Sorry Catherine!  Whatever the case, you should check out this sweet girl’s blog.  Now, what’s a tag without questions?  But first, a few rules.  Rules 1. Link back to your nominee 2. Answer the 11 questions from your nominee 3.  Tag 11 bloggers 4. Ask them 11 new questions 1. How did you co...

The Liebster Award

Hello! Are you ready for a super long post (in case you didn’t realize, you are supposed to say yes)?  Let’s begin.  First, I’d like to thank Catherin @ The Rebelling Muse for nominating me.  You guys should totally check out her blog and give it a follow. When I was tagged, I had absolutely no idea what The Liebster Award was. So, in my time of need, I relied on Google and she pulled through for me.  Here is the link to a blog I looked at explaining the origin and meaning of the tag.  But enough with all this, we have a post to begin! The Rules - Link back to the person who tagged you - Answer the eleven questions - Tag eleven bloggers and let them know - Ask your tagged bloggers eleven questions What is your favorite type of weather? Winter.  Snowflakes.  Cozy days.  Lovely trembles. Spring.  Life.  Goodness.  Flowers.  Summer.  Heat on your back.  Staying up l...
