Love

Image
The world needs more love. I don't mean romantic love, I mean selfless love. The sort of love that sings you to bed at night, that lets you help make cookies (even if you're actually too little to help), that will take your little bros to play tennis just because. The world needs more love that says "yeah, I'm pretty exhausted, but I can still listen." The sort of love that doesn't talk about the awesome party because you know that girl wasn't invited. That will say hello to the awkward girl.  The sort of love that stops looking at Instagram for a minute because real conversations matter, even if doesn't seem like it. Because as Christians, we were called to love like that.  Can you show a little of that sort of love to the world today? Love, Lolly

Our Dear Willa Jean

Image
Hello Everyone! Today I'd like to introduce our sweet sister, Willa!  She is exceptionally adorable, as you can see! Willa is our little drama queen and is very good at telling jokes. She also loves modeling different outfits for me.  Willa is going to be seven on February second.  Our little darling is getting so big!  Love, Pip

A little something to do

Hello Everyone!   If you love reading as much as I do, you are continually losing you place.  Either you forget to get a bookmark or your paper bookmark slips out and then you have to search and reread over and over again.  Or maybe you have a friend or sibling or someone you know who is a book worm and you want to give them a sweet and simple bookish thing for Valentine's Day but, a plain paper bookmark seems well, too plain. If you have any of these problems then I have just the thing for you!  Button bookmarks.  Yep. They are simple, cute, inventive and anyone would love to have one. These cute little bookmarks are perfect for any occasion (they would make great Valentine's Day gifts)! If you will click on the link below it will take you to my YouTube channel where you can watch me show you how to make these cute little things!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP00QZ-aToQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player Love, Pip

Separate

Everyone has some hardship.  One of the biggest hardships that Pip and I endure is living away from each other.  I am going to college in New Mexico, and Pip has to live in Wisconsin.  We still have hope though. Because in James 1:12 God tells us "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."  And that is great inspiration to persevere through any hardship. Love,  Lolly

Winter Blues

Image
The winter blues.  We all know how they feel.  They usually hit right in the middle of January when the sky is particularly grey, the ground is especially white, and the world seems to be suffering from a severe absence of Christmas. Ugh. Well, we are here with a few ideas to help you beat the winter blues! Our first suggestion is to bake something warm and scrumptious!  Don't worry if it doesn't turn out every time.  Lolly recently made some doughnuts, and some of them were greasy, some were salty, and the rest tasted like dog treats.  However, she also made some cinnamon rolls that turned out quite nice.    Cinnamon Rolls Recipe Turn on some music!  That can always liven up the lull after Christmas.  Some of our favorite music right now is Nutcracker Radio on Pandora.  It has even inspired Pip to turn a batch of dolls into the Nutcracker characters!  This leads us to our next tip, which is... Be creative!...
