Welcome to Pip and Lolly.  A place where I will share my writing, random thoughts, photos, and love for Christ. 

I am…

.  A theatre kid.  Showtunes, dance numbers, late nights you name it.

.   A child of The One True King.  First and foremost I want to honor and love Him.

.  An ENFP.  Yep, your typical bubbly loving little person.

.  I lover of words, aka a writer.  I don’t write a lot, but when I do, there’s no turning back.

                . A sister.  I’m lucky enough to be blessed with two sisters, Lolly and Willa Jean.

.  Reading (but doesn't everyone?) and am always ready to give book recommendations.

.  Sewing, painting, embroidery, drawing, sketching, upcycling, crocheting, cross-stitching, and general crafting.

.  Pink!  It’s the best of all colors.  Sweet, lovely and upbeat.

.  Ice cream.  What can I say, I get it from my mom!  Her love for lemons with salt was also passed down to me.  I know it's a little strange, but you should try it!

Hey Guys! I’m really sorry.  I haven’t posted in quite a while, but I was very busy.  For now, let’s catch up on what been happening in this crazy life of mine, starting with tech week.    August 7 th This was our first day of tech week.  People always complain about it, because the cast doesn’t do much.  Just the crew.  But personally, I enjoy it the most.  Getting to the theatre, finding places for our costumes and filming.  Everything was great.  My favorite part was a little adventure after dinner…  Almost everyone was still eating, but I wanted to finish early and do my makeup in the dressing room.  After that I decided to join everyone again.  Out on stage I met up with two of my castmates.  Let’s call them Caleb and Blake.  I really wanted to go exploring the building, but not alone so the three of us went together.  First, we found some random rooms, then one full of lights.  After a little while we went outside.  There were these st

Friendship Day + What My Closest Friends Taught Me

Hello! How are you?  I still can’t believe it’s August.  I know I haven't been posting often, but I've been very busy.  Guess what?  Tomorrow is National Friendship Day!  I really wanted to do a post about it, but I'm trying to stick to my blog schedule, so I compromised and posted it today.     My friends have taught me lots of things .  Sometimes I’ve gotten a little bugged with them, and sometimes I’ve tried their patience.  But not matter what, we stick together.  Here are a few things I’ve learned from my three closest friends. Lolly (because who is a better friend than my sister?) Stand up for yourself.   Don’t ever let people walk all over you.  If they don’t care about you, then there is no reason to care about them. You are safe.  God will always protect you.  You are loved, and there is nothing that can change that. It’s okay to cry.  Just don’t lose hope.  Pip, you just need to sleep.  Everything will seem better

I'm Finally Back + Exciting News

I seem to have taken a brief (but much needed) blogging hiatus.  I was feeling a little discouraged and uninspired.  This time has helped me to refresh my mind while coming up with tons to talk about in upcoming posts.  And now, even when I finally post again, it's just a short one.   But   one filled with an exciting announcement...  I checked my number of followers sometime last week.  It was a measly 21.   This was the beginning of my blog burnout .  I was feeling discouraged.  On Saturday I checked my stats, and I had an amazing 90 followers!  It's amazing that people actually want to read my writing.  People all over the place are going to read these words I write. This afternoon I checked my stats and  literally squealed .  I now have  a gigantic 222 followers!   I don't know where all of this traffic come from, but I'm not complaining!
